Our history
A library of what works.
The Institute began when pantries across the city started calling to ask how Common Table runs a line with no paperwork. June started answering on Saturday mornings.
Today 96 fellows lead pantries in eleven states, and every lesson they learned is in our open library for the next class.

Every fellow arrives with a line out the door and not enough hands. Nobody leaves with more money. They leave with each other, and with a way of working that keeps people's dignity at the center.
